Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) utilizes a network of contract manufacturing partners and sub-tier suppliers in Asia Pacific (APAC) to produce Keurig® coffee makers (“appliances”). The Supplier Quality Engineering Manager is accountable for the performance of assigned suppliers within our KDP Supply Chain. This leader will ensure that suppliers within their specific Category meet the needs of Keurig Dr Pepper Appliance Business Unit strategic goals. Driving continuous improvement activities with our suppliers is important for our long-term success. This position is based in Singapore and reports to the Director of Supplier Quality.


What you will do:

  • Establish and drive accomplishment of overall Supplier Quality performance goals and improvement objectives for the Appliances Business Unit (ABU)
  • Ensure our qualified parts and qualified processes are used to support ongoing development and production
  • Drive end to end Supplier Quality performance ensuring Good Manufacturing Practice always
  • Drive LEAN thinking and projects throughout supply base
  • Define, monitor, and improve performance across defined Key Performance Indicators (e.g., PPAP compliance, FAI Compliance, Materials to specifications, factory yield and cost)
  • Implement incoming material inspection alignment/consistency throughout supply chain
  • Criteria development for testing and inspect parts, Control Plans/Visual aids/communications creation and update
  • Identify top drivers, drive containment and issue resolution for emerging issues and for KPIs improvement
  • Support to our manufacturing and engineering teams for issues related to supplier’s material quality level, lead problem solving activities on it
  • Monitor rejected material evaluation
  • Ensure 8Ds submission, evaluation and disposition. Follow up actions.
  • Monitor RMAs and recovery control, Quality Hold management
  • Ensure containment actions are timely executed and managed properly
  • Govern Material certification program, Supplier Development program and other initiatives as assigned
  • PPAP
    • Implement the APQP (Advanced product quality planning) and PPAP (Production part approval process) for parts, and procedures required for it
    • Receive, evaluate and give disposition for suppliers PPAPs.Coordinate actions needed with product engineering, projects and other groups resulting from PPAP issues
    • Support on internal PPAPs creation and evaluation
  • Metrology (as needed)
    • Develop procedures and method for parts measurement
    • Support metrology team for data collection and data analysis
    • Data analysis usage to correct-prevent-predict parts issues


Requirements

What you must have:

  • BS in a relevant discipline, MBA or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 of relevant industry experience with MNC
  • Strong data acquisition, analysis, and knowledge building skills
  • Master’s Degree (prefer Quality, engineering, sciences or a related field)
  • APQP, PPAP and Core Tools knowledge
  • Knowledge and exposure to manufacturing processes
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership skills, able to create and work with interdisciplinary teams
  • Six Sigma Green belt / Black belt will be an advantage
  • Sense of urgency and highly creative.
  • Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, JMP)
  • Must be Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) who resides in Singapore except for temporary absences; or. Foreigner who has stayed / worked in Singapore for 183 days or more in the previous year

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Predominately sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday)
  • Travel requirements 30-60%
  • Regular interaction (8-12 hours / week) with North American resources during early morning / late evening hours
