Job Description



As the Sales Coordinator, you are a critical part of the team and will provide comprehensive, reliable, high quality sales support to our National Retail Sales (NRS) team. You will be responsible for facilitating team meetings and conference calls, completing and maintaining sales and trade data and customer profiles, and completing all administrative and paper work requirements involved with setting up a new customer or adding a current SKU to the customer’s product portfolio.

You will also prepare responses to requests for quotations, coordinate inquiries regarding order status, ship date, price quotes, availability, and related questions. You will prepare basic sales reports and recaps of shipments, bookings, backlogs, and related activities, and will work to resolve other related items as needed.

What you will do:

  • Maintain promotional database by inputting invoice and bill-back data.
  • Own customer new item set-up for existing products.
  • Update managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding monthly action summaries.
  • Support Sales team to resolve order and inventory problems by: investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
  • Support Sales team to resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices, and forwarding resolution to managers. -
  • Provide sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Analyze data and identify meaningful business trends from the data
  • Maintain internal systems as appropriate by inputting customer data, pricing, volume, and/or trade spend.
  • Support the preparation of sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials. Includes developing templates, graphics, and chart inputs at highest professional standards.
  • Complete other sales support duties and reporting as needed.
  • Communicate effectively to internal team members and external customers
  • Create and Manage database of Customer Agreement contracts.
  • Work cross-functionally with RGM, Finance, CatMan, and Brand Teams,
  • Troubleshoot any in-house system issues and seek resolution from the technical team.
  • Provide support in the coordination and completion of promotional price changes and other price communication.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 1 year experience with dispatching / routing in a logistics / supply chain management environment
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • 1 year experience with Roadnet Transportation Suite or similar routing software
