Job Description

The Risk Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director, Risk Management and other team members with all aspects of insurance placement and risk management processes.



  • Assist Director of Risk Management with all aspects of a Global corporate property and casualty program including data gathering and marketing.
  • Manage large/complex global property insurance program including loss control recommendations
  • Manage corporate insurance budgets and ensure insurance premiums and other expenses are
  • paid timely.
  • Review contracts and make recommendations to the business partners to properly protect the organization through risk transfer.
  • Hold periodic Workers Compensation and General Liability claim reviews with the business units, HR and QEH&S.
  • Manage all types of claims as necessary.
  • Manage TPA KPI’s.
  • Work with outside actuary on quarterly and annual reports
  • SOX Compliance and Internal Controls
  • Partner with QEH&S team to drive safety results.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of projects as needed.
  • Proficient at all Microsoft products.


  • 5+ years in the commercial insurance industry working with corporate clients or in corporate risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate or Labor Law, or another related field
  • In-depth knowledge of property, liability, workers compensation, executive risks
  • Prior experience reviewing legal contracts and insurance policies for corporations, experience in manufacturing & fleet a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • RMIS system experience, a plus
  • Professional Designation, a plus
