Program Manager – Keurig Connected Programs

 

Are you interested in joining our dynamic and innovative team at Keurig Dr. Pepper to shape the future of IoT as a leader in consumer beverages and appliances?  Our Keurig Connected Business Unit (KCBU) team is charged with developing and executing Keurig’s overall IoT strategy, including the connected product roadmap, the enabling technology platforms to bring them to market, and the data monetization opportunities that connected products can deliver.

The role will require demonstrated program experience coupled with competence in B2B, B2C, mobile application development and IoT technologies.  This person will work across a broad spectrum of Keurig functions, including key members of the KCBU Global Marketing, Technology and eCommerce organization. 

The Program Manager oversees large, complex product development and commercialization initiatives, often comprised of multiple discrete programs and/or projects, ensuring they meet the scope, schedule, and cost objectives of the business. As a member of the Program Management Office (PMO), the Program Manager will also share responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving program and project management methods and tools.

The Program Manager will manage people in the context of large product programs or program portfolios.  In most cases the management relationship will be “dotted line” rather than “solid line” management.

What you will do:

  • Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts on the teams as well as with stakeholders and upper management
  • Manage the integration and interoperation of this solution with parallel supporting Keurig Enterprise Applications and Digital environments
  • Coordinate and manage product development and integrated release management for sustained solution development and deployment
  • Collaborate on the development of ROI models and criteria for connected, marketing, eCommerce project prioritization
  • Work with business Subject Matter Expert on User Acceptance Testing. Provide input and guidance to ensure effective and timely testing is completed.
  • Work with IT Infrastructure and other IT Application Teams on System, Integration, Performance, Security, and Regression Testing.
  • Provide coordination of all of the resources, including vendor management, to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of business cases, program plans, integrated master schedules, resource plans, budgets, etc. as required to scope, plan, and execute product programs.
  • Manage program implementation to ensure all goals are met
  • Serve as a resource to senior leadership in the planning and execution of assigned programs, including regular engagement with key business sponsors at or above the Vice President level and periodic program reviews at the Appliance Leadership Team (ALT) level
  • Monitor program status and effectively communicate status to all stakeholders via project data repositories, status reports, project planning tools, presentations, etc.
  • Define and implement governance processes/structure that enables the appropriate planning, scheduling, executing, monitoring and controlling across the program; coordinate program activities across multiple functions or business units
  • Establish and maintain effective risk management discipline on all assigned programs
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of standard project and program management methodologies and tools
  • Program assignments can/will span our product areas in appliances, pods, and beverages; may include disruptive innovations, and may have international scope
  • Follow all Keurig Green Mountain policies and procedures


Requirements

What you must have:

  • BS/MS in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply-Chain Management or related field preferred
  • MBA desirable
  • Certified Project Manager PMI/PMP desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience (10+ preferred) managing programs and projects involving new product development, supply-chain, physical process deployment, and/or information systems
  • Experience in Marketing or Product Development desired
  • Experience in Consumer Products preferred
  • Experience in New Product Introduction highly required
  • Expertise in common knowledge-worker tools (Windows, Office Professional, Visio, etc.) and specialized project/program management software (MS Project, etc.)
  • Planview or other project portfolio management (PPM) applications experience/skills desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Collaborative, appreciative style of management and engagement with others
  • Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our manufacturing best practices
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions
