Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) – a leading producer and distributor of hot and cold beverages – is excited to announce the establishment of a new beverage concentrate manufacturing facility in County Kildare, outside of Dublin, in Ireland. We’re now looking for great talent to build our Ireland team to work in this new best-in-class facility.

The Planning and Inventory Manager is a critical role in the Beverage Concentrates manufacturing site. You will be accountable for managing all aspects of planning, including planning and dispatching production, optimizing inventory levels to reduce the inventory spend and decrease expirations and obsolescence, while maintaining a 99.5% service level. You will also be accountable for managing beverage concentrate master data in conjunction with R&D and procurement, to ensure on time delivery launch of enterprise initiatives from Beverage Concentrates.

In the role of the Planning and Inventory Manager, you will:

  • Manage weekly planning process and place replenishment purchase orders in a timely manner to ensure that we consistently carry the appropriate level of raw materials to deliver the production schedule on time.
  • Schedule, plan and dispatch production weekly, to optimize plant labor and equipment efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop the master data settings and processes in SAP for product master data for all beverage concentrate materials.
  • Set and calibrate RPS, and all critical SAP materials management settings. Standardize the review process, so that all settings are updated periodically, as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update all contract requirements within scope of responsibility.
  • Meet or exceed operating inventory targets, reduce obsolescence while meeting CFR objectives.
  • Manage the inventory level of “In House” intermediates to reduce manufacturing lead times.
  • Minimize the number of unique ingredients that require shelf life management at the lowest possible cost.
  • Work with corporate procurement teams and external suppliers to resolve supply issues. 
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to reduce lead times, minimum order quantities and develop creative solutions in order to reduce total delivered costs.
  • Evaluate raw material requirements for new product initiatives and determine the most effective way to support product launches.
  • Ensure SOX compliance within the role.


Requirements

In order to be successful in the role of Planning and Inventory Manager, you will have an:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree experience in management, in a manufacturing environment. SAP manufacturing applications experience is preferred.
  • Experience of inventory control, purchasing, and scheduling methods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated management and training experience of materials management systems.
  • Ability to positively and comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with self-motivation and focused attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a broad variety of departments. Must be comfortable developing and conducting group presentations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose solutions to problems.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally, work in a team environment, and occasionally work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work effectively with planning functions in St. Louis, MO and Plano, TX.
