Job Overview

The Away From Home Marketing Specialist II will play a key role on the AFH Appliance Commercialization Team, helping to drive AFH appliance business growth and penetration through the launch of new innovation. 

In this role, you will support the programs that deliver against AFH Appliance strategic imperatives and assist with the execution of initiatives. 

You will have the opportunity to take on key ownership roles as part of the product launch planning process and will work closely with broader cross-functional teams.  You will report to the Director of Appliance Commercialization, but closely support initiatives and projects headed by the Appliance Commercialization Managers. 

This is both a learning and development role and is ideal for someone who is eager to gain exposure to all facets of the appliance launch process, the broader commercial organization, and product marketing.  

This position will be based at the Keurig Dr Pepper Burlington, MA headquarters, but require some travel to customer meetings, industry shows, or to support other team initiatives.



What you will do: 

  • Work cross functionally to support programs from end-to-end, from ideation to detailed execution, ensuring excellence across departments and in all deliverables
  • Help to manage launch programs by customer and post-launch metric tracking.
  • With the support of the team, develop launch marketing materials and brewer toolkits by briefing projects and following them through to completion. Help to ensure brand consistency across materials. 
  • Support the commercialization process for ancillary products and accessories
  • Support AFH customer presentations, sales trainings, and product demos by handling meeting logistics, stakeholder communications, and materials assembly and readiness.
  • Assist with competitive product analysis and with focus groups / consumer testing for new product development
  • Act as an AFH Product representative during photo and video shoots by traveling to and/or supporting shoots with products and supplies
  • Help manage customer testing of new innovation prior to launch
  • Help to compile consumer insights to support product business case and customer strategy development
  • Manage new item set-up process for new AFH products and brewer pack-ups
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, brand marketing and/or product management preferred consumer goods, preferably in a Fortune 500 company or in Foodservice, Beverage, or related industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to clearly communicate and deliver presentations
  • Strong project and people skills, critical and creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Independent, passionate, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
  • High adaptability; Able to multi-task and be energized in a fast and changing business environment
  • General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards
  • Ability to travel as needed including travel for marketing and sales meetings, tradeshows and/or customer shows and meetings with external partners (~20%)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite a must (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
