Warehouse Inventory Supervisor

Shift: 3rd shift

Daily and some weekends.

Job Overview:

Is accountable for recording and tracking Inventories in Finished product, materials and supplies.

Coordinates relationships with Warehouse Supervisor, Operations analyst, Production planners.

Position Shift and Schedule:

This is a fulltime permanent position, working Night shift Monday thru Friday. Some weekends required.

Flexibility is required to work on a different schedule (winter Hours may change schedule), overtime and Holidays as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a physical inventory of full goods, raw materials, along with concentrates, keying in inventories into spreadsheets and sap. Use of RF scanner, hand count.
  2. Perform an age inventory of product in the warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
  3. Ensure proper administration of all cycle counts procedures and processes; research outstanding issues related to Inventory reconciliation; reconcile any Inventory discrepancies and handle any follow up questions. Work with Production supervisors on Production tracker vs. actual inventory counts.
  4. Issue out any production /warehouse inventory breakage and any employee product usage and post full goods inventory without discrepancies.
  5. Handle period ending Inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to Plant Operations.
  6. Prepare and maintain and distribute reports related to Inventory.
  7. Ensure sox compliance following the sox checklists related to Inventory.
  8. May also need to support warehouse operations.
  9. Use of Forklift if need be to move product for cycle counting.
  10. Report daily to Warehouse Operations Supervisor, Operations analyst, planners.


Requirements

Requirements:

  1. 2-years of experience in inventory controls, supply planning.
  2. 2 years’ experience using RF technology
  3. 2 years of experience SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
  4. 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  5. Be knowledgeable on creating charts and graphs for report outs and monthly Inventory record keeping.
