Job Description



The Developer Analyst IV will be responsible for the quality and delivery of technology business solutions leveraging the Enterprise Performance Management/Hyperion suite of products, including the design, development, testing, and support Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) involving FDMEE/EPMA .

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business process and IT teams to implement Oracle Hyperion Planning & HFM (11.1.2.4) solutions.
  • Analyze business goals, rules and processes across information systems tools and technologies
  • Develop business requirements, functional and technical specifications for development of Hyperion products such as Hyperion Planning, Financial Reports, Business Logic, FDMEE integrations,, process chains etc.
  • Recommend and implement solutions in the Hyperion suite where appropriate.
  • Install Hyperion Smartview, enhance existing Calculation Scripts, and create custom scripts using the EPM tools like EPMA, LCM and HFM application utilities.
  • Architect solutions from a technical standpoint to ensure we build correct reporting solutions for business needs
  • Enforce and ensure reporting SLA's are met consistently
  • Work with off-shore teams for development and testing activities
  • Perform QA activities for off-shore development objects and ensure all testing is completed
  • Review development objects against Keurig Dr Pepper Hyperion/Enterprise Performance Management standards
  • Support integration between EPM, Hyperion Planning & HFM, and SAP BI
  • Develop and maintain documents detailing requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance of our information systems tools and technology
  • Perform production support activities, including managing changes within the production environment, problem resolution, reporting modifications, and performance tuning
  • Liaise and work effectively with off-shore third party development and support providers
  • Hyperion application development, analysis & design
  • Work with the users in a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst role to gather requirements and design an approach.
  • Design & develop scripts for integrations between Hyperion applications and other applications (including SAP, Anaplan, and BI reporting tools). This requires an understanding of the applications as well as the data involved.
  • FDMEE Support (configuration, mapping, troubleshooting)
  • Support of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Hyperion HFM, and Hyperion FDMEE
  • Application Layer support and maintenance including patching and upgrades
  • Infrastructure / Server support including patching and performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvements.
  • Work extensively with the infrastructure, security, and DBA teams
  • Management and coordination of Vertex O series 6.0 monthly updates among Web/Digital and Tax teams.
  • Support Vertex patch activities, updates (certificates/authentication etc.) and technical break/fix issues 
  • Project Leadership: Analyst and Tech Lead for Hyperion projects
  • People Leadership: Manage the work of our offshore Hyperion and Vertex support teams
  • Change Management: Responsible for following change control guidelines (testing/approvals/validation) via Remedy or Change Control Board process
  • Adhere to formal governance process and standards


Requirements

Minimum Requirements:    

  • Education:      Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related
  • Experience:     5 years progressive experience in job offered or related position     
  • Proficient with Hyperion/EPM:
  • Development of Hyperion queries, workbooks, key figures, and characteristics
  • HFM/Planning data modeling experience including Business Logic, HFM Rules, Plan Types and Financial Report on SmartView.
  • Hyperion data acquisition and data transformation development including developing generic extraction programs and interfaces
  • Monitoring, analyzing, tuning and optimizing Hyperion (HFM, Planning, FDMEE, FR reports) system including knowledge of HFM Taskflow and Scheduling tools.
  • Preparing functional and technical specifications and working with Off-shore teams for development activities and subsequent phases
  • Enterprise Performance Management Administration and a solid understanding of EPM (Hyperion applications, Consolidation Administration, Planning Administration, FDMEE ImportFormat) Architecture.
  • EPMA platform, FR Reports, SmartView and SmartSlice data views 
  • Hyperion tool suite (HFM, Planning, FDMEE, SmartView, FR reports) and integration with SAP BI and Anaplan.
  • Hyperion Financial Reports (FR) standard reports and business process flows 
  • Implement solutions in Hyperion and EPM suite
  • Large scale CPG company leveraging off-shore partners 
  • At least one large full life cycle Hyperion/EPM implementations of Hyperion Planning or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) involving FDMEE, EPMA and FR toolset.
