Buyer

Appliance  Sourcing will be responsible for supplier set up, NDA management,  PO creation within our SAP system, supplier relationships, and purchase order dispatching, as well as maintenance of item attribute data in the system. Responsible for fulfilling the increasingly complex material management requirements.

 Responsibilities:

  • Identification of indirect material requirements in both quality and quantity specifications for informing RFP or RFQ projects
  • Ensure proper invoicing and clear understanding of terms of payment from suppliers
  • Work with internal stakeholders from hardware/software R&D teams to support their sourcing requirements
  • Project management, including bid outs of supply relationships
  • Management of specific supply relationships
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to include scheduling, production, and maintenance at both the site level and across the greater supply chain network management of multiple suppliers
  • Create and place purchase orders
  • Support total cost ownership strategies with quantitative analysis


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of purchasing or closely related experience in an engineering environment is required
  • Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Accredited Purchasing Professional certification preferred

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skill both verbal, written and electronic
  • Analysis and Excel modeling skills are preferred
  • SOX controls knowledge and compliance experience preferred
  • Analytical and reporting skills from data acquired from ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines
  • Computer Literacy, preferably experience with database programs, electronic purchase order systems, and SAP
  • Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Procurement best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive for results
  • Ability work with minimal direction and oversight
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our Operating principles
