The Retirement Benefits Manager supports the administration, compliance, and operational delivery of company-sponsored retirement programs. This role focuses on ensuring plans are administered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and employee experience objectives.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in office/2 days remote – subject to business needs).
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as an expert to leadership for KDP’s retirement programs. The primary focus is on U.S. retirement plans. Reviews and analyzes trends and advises leadership on the state of programs/benefits, demonstrating an understanding of the market dynamics, key competitor benefit plan design, and industry trends.
- Develops and maintains partnerships with Finance, Accounting, Internal Controls, Labor Relations, Legal, Payroll, HRIT and others in relation to program interdependencies.
- Develop and provide support for retirement plan briefings to Leadership/Executive teams and Pension Committees/Boards.
- Project management ownership accountability, including adhering to timelines, coordinating with other teams including the HR operations, payroll and HR technology teams, and ensuring successful project implementation outcomes.
- Manages compliance activities, audits, and required filings to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and controls.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of retirement plan regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills and ability to create presentations for executive leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of retirement benefits in a union and non-union environment with a knowledge of total rewards and other functional areas.
- Advanced knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment related to US retirement programs, including emerging legislation.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task, with a strong attention to detail.

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $96,800 - $120,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience in retirement benefits administration. Exposure to DC, DB and/or NQDC; experience in union modeling and/or transactions (M&A ) preferred
- Knowledge of retirement plan regulations (ERISA, IRS, DOL)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail in fast paced environment
