KDP is bringing fresh thinking and new opportunities to the beverage industry and our Channel Strategy discipline will lead the way. The Senior Manager, Club Channel Strategy will serve as the commercial lead for the Club channel (Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s) and will contribute to a team that helps shape a channel focus for Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP). The position will report to the Director of Channel Strategy.

The Senior Manager will identify areas of opportunity within the Club channel, prioritize areas to drive growth, and work closely with selling teams to meet their needs (based on customer strategies, category growth and shopper profiles). It will be critical for the Senior Manager to understand where the Liquid Refreshment Beverage (beverages and snacking (sauce) industry) industry will likely be 3-5 years in the future and determine how we can best position KDP for success. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for developing action plans and working with senior leaders across the organization to implement our recommended strategies. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be responsible for monitoring progress, course correcting where necessary, and reporting out to senior leaders. We are looking for a team player who has strong problem-solving skills, analytical proficiency, terrific communication skills, and an ability to drive & own a project from start to finish. This position requires an individual to drive to outcomes working with a diverse set of internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, supply chain, pricing, finance, RTM, commercial). 


  • Build strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis
  • Develop channel strategy hypotheses and refine with senior leaders across the organization
  • Drive solutions for the Club channel that uniquely meet its customer needs
  • Synthesize complex problems into clear, actionable plans and ensure execution
  • Gain alignment from all stakeholders while building credibility quickly
  • Drive best practices for retail channel opportunities, processes, and tools through continuous learning, keeping abreast of retail trends and innovation
  • Build action plans and tracking mechanisms to ensure success
  • Be a trusted counterpart to the selling organization, representing the channel across the enterprise


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 7 years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience either directly (i.e., working for a CPG company) or indirectly (i.e., by providing advisory / consulting services to a CPG company)
  • Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage industry including carbonated soft drinks (CSD), water, tea, energy, juice, etc.
  • Experience in CPG commercial strategy development
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (i.e., working with large datasets) and experience developing & delivering compelling MS PowerPoint presentations
  • Solution-orientation and the ability to work autonomously, when required
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sustainable results and problem solving

Preferred qualifications

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Direct experience working for / with Costco, Sam’s Club, and/or BJ’s
  • Strategy experience, preferably from a top management consulting firm (i.e., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Strategy&, Deloitte Consulting, etc.)
