Supply Chain Planner


The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for translating demand signals from various sources into an executable production schedule that aligns with customer requirements while maximizing production efficiency. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Multi-Site Production Planning, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Order Management, Quality, NPD, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on working a Day shift, typically working 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required as needed. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules using SAP and Excel to meet demand and optimize efficiency

  • Collaborate with planners, customer service, plant and corporate leadership, purchasing, and production teams to adjust schedules as needed

  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and operations to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability

  • Support safety initiatives by actively participating in all safety training and practices

  • Champion quality standards by promoting a right-first-time approach and participating in audits and corrective actions

  • Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance scheduling, material flow, and equipment utilization

  • Assist with new product and packaging initiatives by managing setup, procurement, and execution

  • Support inventory management through daily cycle counts, PO management, and SAP troubleshooting

  • Provide planning leadership to designated production lines, aligning with TPM and High-Performing Team principles

  • Procure all necessary materials and packaging, resolving vendor and procurement issues as needed

  • Foster a culture of performance, diversity, and engagement within the Planning Team

  • Perform other duties as needed to support the Planning function


Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $62,500 - $82,900
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement

Requirements:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Accounting preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, planning, inventory control, or accounting within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required

  • Flexibility to be on call for emergencies
