Shift Coordinator - 6135 Anderson Mill Rd, Moore,South  Carolina, 29369

The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center.  Spartanburg is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location.  The site will operate on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverage the principles of Lean manufacturing.  All associates at the Spartanburg site will have accountability to both a functional business unit in addition to the full site operation.  The site will run on first-in-class enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.

As a Shift Coordinator, you will be accountable for ensuring that your Team moves Raw Materials and Finished goods in and out of the site safely, accurately and on time. You will need to partner for success with the multiple KDP business groups in a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment.  

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on Days 1 working our 2-2-3 schedule (see shift details below). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

6:30am-7:00pm

  • Week 1: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday Wednesday Thursday

What you will do:

  • Set task priorities and manage Teams workload throughout the day/night.
  • Partner with Logistics Specialist to optimize dock schedule and workload
  • Backup Logistics Specials to schedule dock as needed.
  • Backup other Shift Coordinators as needed.
  • Manage material movements in and out of the Site (Finished Goods & Raw Materials)
  • Perform Inventory Audits and Cycle Count Event Management.
  • Support IC Team as Needed / escalate & resolve inventory issues
  • Partner with Quality to capture & contain non-conforming materials and with release process.
  • Coordinate/Communicate Hot Shipment and Deliveries
  • Run and generate reports as needed. (SAP, Excel, MES, Ryder and Dock Scheduler)
  • Perform Safety Gemba’s, Quality Gemba’s, RRN’s, 5S and document results (Teams, AIC, Aramark)
  • Audit and update Standard work and facilitate the Teams training requirement. (Training Matrix)
  • Partner to support Material Movements within site and Williston Team as needed.
  • Participate and organize process improvement initiatives, 5S events and RCCA
  • Be able to operate PIT Equipment and perform all work tasks within your team’s scope,
  • Coach Team Members and coordinate training to support Team’s development of both hard and soft skills.
  • Escalate Safety, Quality and Delivery gaps to supervisor and or manager as appropriate.
  • Communicate Safety, Quality, and open / incomplete items to other shifts.
  • Adhere to all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations, and policies

Other Necessary Functions

  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance deviation to DC management.
  • Follow all Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures.
  • Participate in daily huddles for input, feedback on trends, training issues, practices that need to be improved
  • Daily interaction with Employees/Management in Essex / Williston
  • Performs other duties as requested by management

Total Rewards

  • Pay starting at $26.78 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $28.12 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements

  • 6+ Months of Leadership Experience is preferred.
  • SAP or Warehouse Management System experience is required
  • Prior Inventory Control and /or shipping experience is required
  • Strong math and computer skills (Microsoft suite).
  • Knowledge of Warehouse and Shipping principles
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to multi task and manage stress
  • Fosters positive relationships and culture.
  • Ability to follow and give direction.
  • Ability to follow Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for  up to 12.5 hour per day
  • Now how operate material handling equipment.
  • Previous work with continuous process improvement preferred (value stream analysis, 5S)
  • Strong attention to detail and good trouble shooting/follow up skills
  • Positive attitude/self–motivated
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance.
    • Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
    • Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment.
