Job Overview:

Location: 2670 Land Ave., Sacramento, CA 95815

Shift & Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM –5:00 PM. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for managing all materials related to day-to-day production at the manufacturing site. This includes procurement, inventory management, and SAP system transactions to support production. The role ensures proper stock levels, coordinates with suppliers and intercompany resources, and drives process improvements to maintain efficient and accurate inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage SAP material movement reconciliation for daily production activities.

  • Serve as a backup for production planning functions.

  • Drive improvements in inventory processes to meet standards and enhance efficiency.

  • Proactively resolve SAP or inventory issues with site team members.

  • Review root cause analyses of SAP inventory transactions; support corporate inventory standards and continuous improvement initiatives; present period metrics to senior management.

  • Adjust SAP inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and proper posting to the General Ledger.

  • Audit inventory transactions against corporate standards and perform investigative analysis to resolve discrepancies.

  • Document and review failures resulting in lost or damaged inventory; manage carrier, operations, and claims processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy targets (98.5%) through cycle counts, periodic counts, and reviews.

  • Reconcile differences in stock and SAP/production reporting systems, determine causes, and coordinate with Production, Inventory, Warehouse, and Planning teams.

  • Ensure proper storage and accurate SAP master data.

  • Order materials and supplies to support production and operations.

  • Process customer returns and maintain inventory-related records.

  • Monitor site-specific permits and licenses and file for renewals as required.

  • Oversee planning, execution, and tracking of all inbound STOs for RDC and additional sites under responsibility.

  • Perform month-end inventory reporting and reconciliation, including third-party sites under site responsibility.


Total Rewards:
  • $27.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with automated warehouse management systems, preferably SAP.

  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience, ideally in planning or scheduling.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
