Senior Supply Chain Analyst

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Supply Chain Director and participate with the cross-functional Supply Chain teams in support of Sam’s Club. This position will ensure a single point of contact for customers and continuously strive to improve customer service and meet the customers’ targets. The analyst will establish relationships with customer buyers and KDP on-site commercial teams and provide support for end-to-end customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate with the customer VMI / Co-Managed customer teams, ensuring a single point of contact with customers and continuously striving to improve customer service and meet both KDP and the customers’ targets.
  • Manage daily ordering for KDP Sam’s Club business, working with supply partners to fulfill orders and meet customer expectations.
  • Drive service excellence; analyze / interpret customer service level information to facilitate proactive improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure delivery of orders through monitoring on time delivery metrics and partnering with the transportation teams and bottling partners.
  • Manage and publish critical management reports on in-stock, on-time delivery, and inventory level compliance with KDP management team. 
  • Execute business processes related to order cycle, forecasting, promotional activity, claims, returns, deductions, etc.
  • Collaborate with SC Director to identify and implement strategic initiatives to enhance customer relationship while reducing cost. Provide analysis to take advantage of promotion, distribution, pricing, and process opportunities.
  • Execute business process using effective communication, customer service, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage, review, and create vendor purchase orders utilizing Sams Club replenishment software.
  • Manage the inventory levels, freshness, and product flow throughout the supply chain.
  • Serve as central point of contact to ensure continual connectivity and high levels of execution between Sam’s Club and KDP.
  • Enable vendor on-time delivery performance including managing DC inbound capacity and management of PO delivery scheduling utilizing Sam’s Club and supplier supply chain tools.
  • Provide strategy to better manage vendor supply issues including assisting with allocation management.
  • Execute inventory flow for successful transition of new items, discontinued items, pack size transitions and shelf resets.
  • Ensure purchase order cost of goods are accurate.
  • Identify ways to continuously improve supply chain performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 2 years of VMI, order processing, or replenishment experience
  • 2 years’ experience using MS Excel
  • 1 year experience using SAP or similar system
  • 1 year experience using Retail Link/GRS
