The National Account Executive – ISO System (Independent Sales Organization) serves as the central communication hub for the Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) Independent Bottling Network supporting the Walmart & Sam’s Club businesses. This role is responsible for connecting strategy to execution across the Independent Bottling system by driving clear, consistent communication of priorities, performance expectations, and field execution standards.
Operating at the intersection of sales, operations, field execution, and bottler engagement, this leader ensures alignment across Walmart Home Office, KDP leadership, Independent Bottling Partners, and field teams. The role focuses on improving service levels, enhancing execution against Walmart KPIs, and accelerating issue resolution through structured communication, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
This position works in close partnership with the Business Transformation Team to ensure operational initiatives, tools, and processes are translated into practical, repeatable execution across the Independent Bottler network. Additionally, this role will support ongoing communication with many of KDP’s Partner Brands to ensure priorities, execution expectations, and business updates are clearly shared and aligned across the broader Walmart Route to Market.
Core Responsibilities
Customer & Bottler Leadership
- Serve as the primary communication hub for all Independent Bottler Route to Market activity related to the Walmart business
- Translate KDP Walmart priorities into clear, actionable direction for Independent Bottling Partners and field teams
- Ensure consistent messaging across Walmart Home Office, KDP leadership, Independent Bottlers, Field Teams, and Partner Brands
- Build structured communication frameworks to improve speed, clarity, and execution consistency across the Independent Bottling System
- Support communication of key updates, priorities, and expectations to Partner Brands where execution is dependent on Independent Bottler alignment
Performance Management & Analytics
- Monitor and communicate performance against key Walmart KPIs, including:
- In-Stock performance
- On Time / In Full-service metrics
- OPD Online Pickup & Delivery compliance
- Pre-Substitution / First Time Pick Rate performance where applicable
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to leadership, Independent Bottling Partners, field teams, and applicable Partner Brand Stakeholders
- Leverage POS, operational, and service-level data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Support development of scorecards and reporting tools that drive accountability, transparency, and improved execution across the Independent Bottler network
Field Execution & Priority Communication
- Communicate key commercial priorities, initiatives, and execution requirements to Independent Bottling Partners and field teams
- Ensure alignment to promotional execution, modular resets, new item launches, transformation initiatives, and Walmart execution expectations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive consistent, high-quality in-store execution across Independent Bottler-serviced markets
- Develop and deliver clear “what good looks like” guidance for field teams and bottler partners
Service & Issue Resolution Leadership
- Function as a liaison between Walmart stores, Walmart Home Office, KDP leadership, Independent Bottling Partners, and Field Teams to resolve service-related issues
- Identify root causes of service gaps and coordinate cross-functional action plans
- Drive faster issue escalation and resolution through standardized communication and escalation processes
- Support post-mortem reviews and continuous improvement actions to prevent repeat issues
- Help ensure service concerns are communicated clearly to the appropriate internal teams, bottler partners, and Partner Brand Stakeholders when applicable
Cross-Functional Coordination & Transformation Support
- Partner closely with the Business Transformation Team to operationalize new processes, tools, and capabilities across the Independent Bottling System
- Support rollout and adoption of transformation initiatives across the Independent Bottler Route to Market
- Help translate complex operational strategies into field-ready execution plans
- Contribute to process simplification, improved communication flows, and scalable execution models
- Support alignment between KDP and Independent Bottlers as Walmart transformation initiatives evolve
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with Walmart, KDP leadership, Independent Bottling Partners, and field teams
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for Independent Bottler Route to Market performance and execution insights
- Influence partners through data-driven insights, structured problem solving, and clear communication
- Facilitate alignment across diverse stakeholders to drive improved execution, stronger service levels, and better business outcomes
- Act as a connector between KDP and Independent Bottlers to ensure priorities are communicated consistently and issues are resolved efficiently
Total Rewards:
- Salary range $130,700 - $170,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Operations, or CPG
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Operations, Distributor Management, National Accounts, or field execution environments; DSD experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Walmart’s operating environment, performance expectations, and execution standards
- Experience supporting cross-functional communication across sales, operations, supply chain, field teams, and external partners
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong Excel and data management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
