The Route Auditor is responsible for the accurate settlement of delivery route case sales, route cash deposits and validation of route variances. Route Auditor will receive funds from employees, may disburse funds, record monetary transactions, and/or issue receipts for funds received. Route Auditor will also perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, general inventory duties, reporting etc.
Position Shift and Schedule
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required if scheduled/need.
This position will be in charge of auditing routes for the following locations/facilities Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside.
Position Responsibilities
- Account for money collected daily from assigned routes.
- Post any discrepancies in invoice totals compared to cash collected.
- Assist other cashiers in completing daily tasks.
- Collect settlement packets from Delivery Drivers.
- Collect and record all payments received from Delivery Drivers.
- Review and verify that all invoices have been included as listed on sales report.
- Organize all paperwork including invoices in numerical order.
- Identify and record problems for driver supervisor to review.
- Use of counting machine.
- Prepare bank deposits and other necessary paperwork.
- Assist accounting department with data entry.
- Assist with office clerical duties.
- Track driver over/shorts and report both cash and inventory shortages to the branch.
- Research and resolve route related items on a daily basis.
- Document errors and variances thoroughly.
- Reconcile delivery routes.
- Validate PODs and driver paperwork compliance
- Prepare deposits for armored transport pickup.
- Process payments on account
- Scan in POD and driver paperwork on a nightly basis
- Process and submit Refund to customer as needed
- Other tasks as needed and directed by supervisor.
Total Rewards
- Pay starting at $23 per hour.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- One year cashier/cash handling experience
- One year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Lift up to 50lbs
