Northlake, Illinois Job ID 105165 Job Category Supply Chain Job Level Manager Position Type Full-TimeThe Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position primarily covering Day shift. Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage supervisors of warehouse employees. This includes hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Focus on the productivity, process and quality of warehouse operations.
- Reduce controllable expenses.
- Improve cost productivity, outbound shipment quality, and process improvement.
- Lead and assist in daily operations, which could include but are not limited to developing training plans, performance feedback, project implementation, continuous process improvement, customer and supplier quality, and communication with internal business leadership and employees.

- Compensation: This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Compensation is flexible and determined by the candidate's experience level.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- 5 years experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
- 2 to 3 years supervisory / management experience
- Experience with SAP or similar logistic system
- Microsoft Office experience
