Tax Coordinator

Job Overview

The Tax Coordinator will support the Company's tax reporting function through the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax account reconciliations, financial statement disclosures, SOX controls, and other tax reporting activities. The position will work closely with members of the Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, International Tax, and Tax Technology teams to support the Company's global tax reporting obligations.

This role provides an opportunity to develop and expand technical knowledge of ASC 740, tax accounting, SEC reporting, and tax technology while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative tax organization.

Position Responsibilities

Tax Provision

• Prepare components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
• Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for domestic and international legal entities.
• Prepare deferred tax asset and liability rollforwards and supporting schedules.
• Prepare valuation allowance analyses and supporting documentation.
• Prepare uncertain tax position calculations and supporting workpapers.
• Assist with quarterly and annual effective tax rate calculations and supporting analyses.
• Prepare provision-to-return analyses.
• Maintain tax provision workpapers and supporting documentation within OneSource Tax Provision.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare tax-related financial statement disclosures included in Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
• Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly and annual external reporting requirements.
• Assist with preparation of management reporting deliverables and tax forecasts.
• Support quarterly earnings and reporting processes.

Reconciliations and Controls

• Prepare tax account reconciliations and supporting analyses.
• Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly SOX controls.
• Maintain documentation supporting tax reporting positions and conclusions.
• Assist with responses to audit and review requests.

Process Improvement and Technology

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax Reporting function.
• Support continuous improvement within the Tax Reporting function by assisting with the automation and standardization of tax reporting processes
• Utilize OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and other related tools to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support tax technology projects and system enhancements.

Special Projects

• Assist with tax reporting implications of business initiatives, acquisitions, and organizational changes.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Competitive benefits

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years of tax, accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with corporate tax accounting or public accounting preferred.
• General understanding of ASC 740 concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, Alteryx, or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong business-level English communication skills preferred.
