Territory Sales Operations Manager - Lubbock, TX

Up to 75%-100% travel required

The Territory Sales Operations Manager manages sales, operations and P&L of a branch to meet financial and company objectives for profitability and growth. Manage sales force in expanding market penetration and ensure timely product delivery and proper merchandising.

Shift will primarily be 1st shift with some off shift activity when deemed necessary.

This role will manage these sites:Lubbock, Amarillo, Odessa, and San Angelo

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage activities related to inventory control, warehousing, receiving, and customer deliveries.
  • Identify, recommend, and execute continuous improvement initiatives in the sales warehouse and delivery operation.
  • Develop and communicate the business plan, establish goals and objectives, monitor results and recourse as necessary to ensure the desired results.
  • Develop and grow working/business relationships with all major chain customers.
  • Develop and drive engagement plans throughout the entire market
  • In conjunction with Fleet, ensure maintenance and fuel costs are at or below budget.
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of company transport vehicles to maximize revenue producing opportunities and minimize non-productive downtime and excessive overtime.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and maintain a reporting system to track and communicate performance for sales, merchandising, delivery and warehouse.
  • Design and implement operation strategies for greater warehouse optimization.
  • Set, implement and monitor trade execution standards for Direct Store Delivery. Standards include account frequency, display diagrams, equipment sets, and account service levels, including merchandising standards.
  • Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA, FDA, and DOT including, Driver Fitness scores, DVIR, and Driver Logs

  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • 5 years consumer products sales experience in progressively responsible positions
  • 5 years of experience in a distribution center / DSD Warehouse environment
  • 5 years of experience with direct people management/supervision in a distribution center
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Up to 75%-100% travel required
