Fleet Mechanic

Fleet Mechanic II- Jacksonville, Florida

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
• Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
• Will act as a mentor to the class I mechanics.

• Pay starting at $33.34 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $35.01 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• Between 2 to 3 years of mechanic experience on a fleet 
• Must be able to work on all types of vehicles
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
• Basic computer skills needed
• CDL A preferred
• Must have forklift operation experience
