Building & Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Shift: 1st : 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Job Summary: The Building and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair tasks that ensure the safe and continuous operations of the company's facilities. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the waste water treatment center, including executing daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and troubleshooting issues.
  • Manage the installation and troubleshooting of facility-related electrical devices, including changing light fixtures and ballasts, and maintaining roll-up, overhead, and mandoors.
  • Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, and act as the point of contact with HVAC vendors for major repairs or new installations.
  • Drive 5S initiatives by maintaining designated areas, including painting and general upkeep.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks, including drywall, framing, painting, and finish work.
  • Monitor the facility and recommend repairs or maintenance for equipment and the building structure, including the roof, ceiling, and walls.
  • Operate forklifts, high lifts, scaffolding, and ladders as needed.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and accepted safety practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance department in a large production facility or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and installation.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
