Batcher I - Irving, TX
The Batcher is responsible for preparing and mixing appropriate ingredients required to produce finished syrup for KDP’s line of beverages while maintaining KDP’s high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in complying with and understanding the manufacturing processes to lead in the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and growth.
Shift & Schedule:This is a full time position on 3rd shiftMonday - Friday 9:00pm - 5:30am. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors always
- Understand and help drive improvements to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices. and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Collaborate with production team members to maintain continuous flow of syrup to the lines
- Mix and blend ingredients to create various batches.
- Learn to safely and efficiently operate batching equipment including set up, operation, and sanitization
- Ensure food safety through quality checks and accurate record keeping
- Inventory and control ingredients and receive sugar
- Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas

Total Rewards:
- Pay starting at $22.52 per hour

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to learn about how processing equipment works. Mechanical understanding and food manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to quickly learn to operate a forklift safely around pedestrians
- Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve, and remain flexible
- Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software
- Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
- Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
- Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
- Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions
