Shift & Schedule:
Full-Time | 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

  • Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
    Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.

We are seeking a Quality Technician III to join our team and support the plant’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs. This role is responsible for performing validation and verification activities during shifts and ensuring compliance with the Food Safety Management System in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold a safety-first culture in all activities

  • Conduct line audits and review documentation with in-depth knowledge of production lines

  • Apply expert knowledge of quality procedures and plant-wide standards

  • Work independently with a high degree of initiative and professionalism

  • Train and mentor junior quality technicians in a collaborative environment

  • Lead and resolve quality issues using sound decision-making, balancing product integrity with financial impact

  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding quality concerns

  • Assess substandard batches and determine appropriate corrective actions

  • Lead VMS audits and support QA aspects of plant trials

Certifications & Training

  • Better Process Control School certification

  • Completed Lean Six Sigma (Yellow, White, or Lean Belt)

  • AIB Food Sanitation certification

  • HACCP/HARPC training course or workshop completed


Total Rewards:
  • Pay starting at $24.04 per hour The employee will move to a higher rate of $25.36 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field (preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing

  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs, and HACCP/HARPC

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, and overhead reaching

  • Ability to stand for extended periods on the manufacturing floor

  • Willingness to work across multiple departments and flexible or extended hours as needed
