Job Overview:

The Sales Coordinator will support the Grocery Midwest team by managing promotional data, resolving order and pricing issues, and maintaining internal systems. This part-time role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting across key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Data Management:

  • Maintain promotional databases by inputting invoice and bill-back data.
  • Prepare and forward sales tracking reports; analyze data to identify business trends.
  • Track, consolidate, and summarize sales expenses for reimbursement.
  • Maintain customer databases and internal systems with updated profiles, pricing, volume, and trade spend.

Customer & Order Management:

  • Own customer new item set-up for existing products.
  • Support resolution of order and inventory issues by investigating data and identifying alternate solutions.
  • Research and resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Update managers with daily action summaries.
  • Provide product, promotion, and pricing information to internal teams and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers.

Presentation & Project Support:

  • Assist in preparing sales presentations by compiling data and developing high-quality templates, graphics, and charts.
  • Complete other sales support duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Siebel) is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
