The Workday HRIS at KDP is a strategic and technical role focused on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday platform. This position plays a key role in supporting digital transformation initiatives, ensuring data integrity, and driving operational excellence through analytics, automation, and stakeholder collaboration. Success in this role requires a holistic mindsetthinking beyond individual systems or departmental needs to deliver scalable, integrated solutions that align with long-term business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support HR technology projects from concept to execution, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and post-launch support, in collaboration with COEs and business stakeholders.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, and Learning.
- Design, test, and implement system enhancements and business process improvements.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align priorities and solutions.
- Create and maintain functional and technical documentation for system configurations and processes.
- Perform data entry, audits, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity across HR systems.
- Lead digital transformation efforts by streamlining operations, reducing technical debt, and promoting scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and complex calculated fields.
- Resolve escalated Tier 2 myHR tickets, ensuring timely resolution and conducting root cause analysis.
- Champion a transformation mindset by continuously seeking opportunities to modernize HR technology and processes in alignment with the organization’s digital strategy.
- Challenge conventional practices by exploring innovative solutions and daring to think differently to drive meaningful change.
- Conduct end-user training to promote adoption and self-service capabilities; develop user guides and training materials.
- Foster a culture of innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across HR technology initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow platforms.
- Experience in both client-side and Workday consulting environments preferred.
- Workday certifications in HCM, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, and Reporting are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.
This role requires:
- In depth knowledge and expertise in Workday.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical audiences.
- This role requires a transformation mindset—challenging conventional practices, exploring innovative options, and thinking beyond silos to drive meaningful change across the HR technology landscape.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and interact with team members at all levels.

- Technical Skills:
- HR Technology & Automation: Workday System Configuration, EIBs, RPA tools (e.g., Alteryx) for automation, Change Control
- Data Analytics: Proficient in Excel, Data Manipulation, Trend Analysis and Identification
- Visualization & Reporting: Knowledge of Power BI, Insight Driven Reporting, Report Writer
