As the Vice President, Market Development Direct Store Delivery (DSD), you will lead the organization accountable for enabling KDP’s DSD sales force to achieve delivery of its key executional initiatives across the entire product portfolio with excellence. This leader will work closely with the DSD Sales Operations regional leadership and cross-functional partners to implement go-to-market strategies, ensure local initiatives are aligned with the company’s overall priorities and identify new local market opportunities.  Additionally, this leader will oversee a high performing team where leading with a growth mindset and holding a commitment to continuous improvement is a requisite.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development, resource alignment and execution of KDP’s commercial imperatives
  • Ensures DSD Region executional excellence of the following: innovation launches, POS/merchandising readiness, deployment of selling collateral, incentive programs, annual and trimester planning processes
  • Collaborate with the DSD Sales Operators, Marketing, National and Regional Sales, and Headquarter Commercial teams to implement and achieve initiatives aligned with commercial imperatives and annual business plan
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Cold DSD Partners
  • Drive the evolution of KDP’s market development best practices to enhance brand visibility and market penetration of new items, execution marketing programs and strategic asset partnerships
  • Monitor region performance, market trends, and adapt strategies to achieve KDP’s strategic growth imperatives
  • Leads regional product and package launches and stewardship of key product life cycle processes including: SKU Rationalization, At-Risk Product, and product obsolescence
  • Ensure effective cross-functional communication and alignment with company values and guiding principles. 
  • Manage and mentor a team of market development professionals, fostering a culture of customer obsession, inclusion, agility, and learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in market development or a similar strategic role within the beverage industry.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Commitment to the company's values and competencies, including a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and operational excellence
