Senior Supply Chain Analyst

 The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst facilitates the material planning activities to drive consistency in supply availability across the Keurig Dr Pepper’s (KDP) US Refreshment Beverage Supply Chain.  This individual will have responsibility to manage material requirements across internal manufacturing network and external suppliers to facilitate the end-to-end material planning. This position plays an integral role in the success of innovation through partnerships with Supply Chain Initiatives Project Managers, Production Planning, Procurement and Suppliers to ensure materials are available to meet target In-market timeline. 

What you will do:

  • Ownership in managing the Supplier Forecast process for assigned raw material / packaging categories.
  • Coordinate raw materials supply plans with plant planners and suppliers to support production requirements of KDP Brands.
  • Develop strategies to optimize raw material/packaging inventory to increate inventory turns and maximize availability to protect service.
  • Oversee raw material supplier inventory policies to enable flexibility to respond to KDP requirements.
  • Seek out and eliminate “Process Waste” in the material planning process through automation and reduction of process cycle time. 
  • Improve and optimize the lead time between our suppliers and our facilities. Create integrated replenishment strategies to decrease operating working capital.
  • Continuously focus on minimization of “aged” inventory. Diligently work to minimize obsolescence. Re-deploy material inventory across the network in a balance of age/obsolescence risk and freight costs.
  • Provide short and long-range material projections to vendors. Execute phase in/out strategies for promotional activities and product discontinuations.
  • Communicate to integrated planners any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving Procurement as required.
  • Coordinate the relationship with the existing supplier base to effectively respond to the dynamic requirements of KDP’s finished goods.

  • Communicate via written, phone and presentation platforms
  • Ability to work different cultures with a diverse workforce and customer base
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, finance, marketing, R&D, packaging, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

Requirements:

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3 years of supply chain planning experience, previous experience in a manufacturing setting, or experience working in the Consumer Goods industry
  • Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • 2 years creating, updating, and maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (including but not limited to VLookups/ XLookups, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc.)
