Sr Mgr, Tax

We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead our tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax planning initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the company’s tax obligations are met while identifying opportunities for tax optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach with a transformation mindset to managing risk and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Tax Compliance & Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns.
• Manage tax filings, estimated payments, and extensions to ensure timely compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in tax calculations and reporting.
• Tax Strategy & Planning:
• Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions, M&A, and expansions.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the company.
• Tax Provision & Accounting:
• Lead the preparation and review of ASC 740 tax provisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and internal controls related to tax.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams for tax forecasting and budgeting.
• Audit & Risk Management:
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants.
• Respond to inquiries and audits from tax authorities.
• Minimize tax risks through proactive planning and compliance strategies.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and HR.
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation in tax functions
• Tax Automation and Transformation:
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and transform key tax processes to drive efficiency
• Challenge how the tax processes and tasks are executed and lead a team through technological change
• Lead transformation projects/initiatives that contribute to creating the best-in-class tax department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, SAP, Workday).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
