Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business value? Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead efforts in collecting, storing, and enabling large-scale data analysis. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will…

Data Integration & Management:

  • Develop and manage robust data integrations to enable business growth and IT results.
  • Design, build, and maintain data management systems, including data warehouses and data lakes, for reporting and analytics.
  • Implement complex databases and scalable infrastructure for data analysis and insights.
  • Create technical tools/services to support large-scale machine learning solutions.

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Partner with Architects, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists to identify and integrate relevant data sources.
  • Lead projects with third-party consulting partners to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide Analytics thought leadership in Project and Support paradigm to technical teams and key business stakeholders in defining technology solutions and services to enable the business strategy and goals to be achieved for the supported functional business area.

Best Practices & Optimization:

  • Document, develop, and enforce best practices for analytics platforms.
  • Analyze and enhance existing analytics architecture and design for continuous improvement.
  • Plan and deliver strategies and roadmaps for the Analytics Data Platform.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Oversee architecture reviews, ensuring compliance with change control processes before production rollouts.

You are a results-driven professional with a deep technical skillset, strategic thinking abilities, and collaborative mindset.

Key Skills & Expertise:

Technical Mastery:

  • Expert knowledge of Snowflake architecture, SnowSQL, and data manipulation tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, R, Scala, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and modern data storage technologies (e.g., RDBMS, NoSQL, Key/Value stores).
  • Understanding of data management architectures such as Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Hubs.
  • Progressive responsibility and experience in development and architecture of both on premise and cloud-based enterprise data warehouses and minimum two years’ experience with cloud based data warehouses.
  • Experience with commercial data science platforms like KNIME, Alteryx, or similar tools.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Proven ability to lead teams, set strategy, and deliver results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from data and present clear recommendations.

Problem Solving & Optimization:

  • Track record of building and optimizing data pipelines to improve productivity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues efficiently

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality, or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SnowSql, and ETL processes
  • 5+ years of gathering and analyzing data, creating visualizations.
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
