Job Overview:

KDP is seeking a Sales Insights & Analytics Manager to join our Analytics & Operations BevConCenter of Excellence team. This person will own the development & utilization of data and insights for internal & external support to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is genuinely curious, ambitious, technically adept, solutions oriented, and can pull and traverse through datasets, converting data into insightful, fact-based selling stories.

The candidate will lead development of bottler/retailer selling stories with a focus on supporting the sell-in of national/regional products, innovation, and programs.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop localized selling stories that are bottler and/or retailer facing: to gain distribution/space/program alignment and execution of Dr Pepper, Crush, Schweppes, Core 5 and Stills products.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reporting with ability to summarize at a granular level key drivers and leading indicators, as well as synthesize at a high level (e.g. Crush flavors 12pk distribution & opportunity gap reporting)
  • Work closely with National Account Executives (NAEs) to develop retail account specific selling stories across Large and Small Format (e.g. Walmart, Target, Kroger, Albertsons, 7-Eleven).
  • Work closely with Bottler Activation Managers (BAMs) to leverage facts to confirm regional strategies and provide sales insights to activate against regionally developed initiatives.
  • Anticipate future demands of Sales teamsalong with broader KDP organization and design and implement solutions to meet those demands.
  • Co-lead the partnership with Circana data vendor: Partner on strategic selling story development, ensure data accuracy, be the voice for the sales team in gaining available regional data (e.g.Circana Custom Geographies).
  • Lead strategy and design of analytic tools used by the team and organization to assess the business among key stakeholders (e.g. execution scorecards, innovation reporting, item availability, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and deriving insights from data.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Circana or Nielsen Scan and Panel data; including report creation, sharing, and managing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
  • Curiosity and passion for our business and our brands.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong story-telling skills.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Understanding and experience using analytical concepts: hypothesis development, framing the situation, analyzing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Strong ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects at once
  • Challenger Mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, Think-Cell.
  • Proficient in Data visualization.
