As the Sales Coordinator, you are a critical part of the team and will provide comprehensive, reliable, high-quality sales support to our National Retail Sales (NRS) team. You will be responsible for facilitating team meetings and conference calls, completing and maintaining sales and trade data and customer profiles, and completing all administrative and paperwork requirements involved with setting up a new customer or adding a current SKU to the customer’s product portfolio.
You will also prepare responses to requests for quotations, coordinate inquiries regarding order status, ship date, price quotes, availability, and related questions. You will prepare basic sales reports and recaps of shipments, bookings, backlogs, and related activities, and will work to resolve other related items as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain promotional database by inputting invoice and bill-back data.
- Own customer new item set-up for existing products.
- Update managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.
- Support Sales team to resolve order and inventory problems by: investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
- Support Sales team to resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices and forwarding resolution to managers.
- Provide product, promotional and pricing information by clarifying customer requests; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
- Provide sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Analyze data and identify meaningful business trends from the data.
- Maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates and preparing and distributing monthly reports.
- Maintain internal systems as appropriate by inputting customer data, pricing, volume, and/or trade spend.
- Support the preparation of sales presentations by compiling data and developing presentation formats and materials. Includes developing templates, graphics, and chart inputs at highest professional standards.
- Track, consolidate, analyze and summarize sales expenses and forward for reimbursement.
- Complete other sales support duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively to internal team members and external customers
- This individual must proactively team/partner with the account leads along with internal KDP resources that influence and help drive execution of the respective accounts plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
1+ years experience
Proficiency in MS Office Suite a must (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) with database experience (Siebel or CRM systems) a plus
Highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
