Manager, Sales Technology

The Manager, Sales Technology will administer, manage, and strategically develop the Salient MM system(s) to provide accurate data analysis to the KDP PB DSD (Keurig Dr Pepper Packaged Beverage Direct Store Delivery) network including, but not limited to Direct Store Delivery, Revenue Growth Management, National Retail Sales, Commercial Planning/Marketing, Finance, and Fountain Food Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Maintain Salient Margin Minder System
    • Initiate and develop new functionality or reporting within the Salient MM System(s). Evaluate business requirements, research existing system ability, new Salient tools, develop project plan, present to Management Team, and execute new functionality.
    • Manage system administrative requirements such as proactive monitoring of the system, standardization of data, and ensure system backups are made.
    • Oversee User Groups and User Security Profiles.
    • Maintain tables such as Conversion Unit reporting, Customer and Product Dimensions, Data Fields (Measures).
    • Maintain documentation and filing of approved changes made to system and data. Includes submitting change/update requests to KDP CCB (Change Control Board).
    • Update Senior Leadership Team for all key issues and projects including status reports, identification of issues and recommended solutions.
    • Manage direct reports, Salient Corp. support technicians and account consultants.
    • Assess system issues and coordinate resolutions with The Salient Company and/or KDP IT.
    • Salient system version upgrades and annual server license renewals.
    • Negotiate with salient in conjunction with purchasing for licenses, utilities, upgrades, etc.
  • Develop Reporting Tools to Enable Annual AOP Target Delivery and Manage Margins
    • Create annual CMA Compliance global bookmarks and collections in SIM and Dashboard platforms.
    • Update system to include new acquisition territory & loading historical sales data.
    • Manage and execute various reporting to other systems as needed/requested (i.e., Balanced Calorie Initiative reporting to American Beverage Association through 2025 for specific States and zip codes).
    • Convert and load budget data (AOP) for Salient MM system(s), annually from KDP Finance IT.
    • Identify and develop training materials. Oversee training program for all end users.
    • Assist with the monthly Finance/Vistex reconciliation process by communicating issues & assisting in problem resolution.
  • Support Topline Growth Agenda
    • Deliver reporting tools to deliver topline growth.
    • Create bookmarks and dashboards to track sales performance, trends, and distribution opportunities that will drive topline growth.
    • Identify unidentified customer or product issues and resolve with Master Data, etc.
    • Maintain back-end tables identified by the Business as necessary i.e., POP Customer, POP Package (Y-Query Table), DSD Sales Hierarchy.
    • Create global reporting to highlight business focus areas and opportunities through bookmarks/collections/setups with end user communication.

Requirements:
  • BS/BA Business degree preferred
  • 5- 7 minimal years’ experience/ exposure in sales, marketing, and finance
  • Knowledge of CPG and/or beverage industry preferred
  • Proficient understanding of business process and analysis tools
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Computer literate such as FTP files, Access tables, and file formats/layouts. Technical programming skills helpful but not required.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage projects across multiple departments with little supervision
  • 3+ years of experience with sales software/systems (i.e., CRM, Salient Margin Minder, Salesforce)
  • System administration and/or project management experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% in U.S
  • Able to work flexible hours and some weekends based on business needs
