Marketing Analytics Manager

We are currently seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Data-Driven Marketing Manager to join the Marketing Analytics & Technology team at KDP. In this role, the individual will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical data science concepts and business goals, ensuring effective collaboration between the data science team and other departments.

You should have the ability to quickly gain a high-level understanding of Marketing Mix Modelling, Budget Optimization, Predictive Audience Targeting, among other concepts in our toolbox. You must have excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to identify business needs, interpret complex data models, and translate them into actionable insights will be crucial for this role. Additionally, you should have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with the data science team, marketing managers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into data science projects
  • Understand and interpret complex data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques used by the data science team
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical information into clear and concise language
  • Extract relevant insights from data science projects and present them in a comprehensive manner to inform business
  • Collaborate with the data science team to translate business questions into an analytic framework (objective, solution, output, action) and develop data-driven solutions that address business challenges
  • Collaborate and influence cross-functional partners from brand marketing, media, creative, consumer engagement, and consumer insights
  • Partner with an integrated communications team to provide a strong data-driven perspective and iterate to achieve the optimal communication strategy
  • Incorporate and communicate qualitative and quantitative uncertainty, risk, reward, and expected values to our cross-functional partners
  • Tell compelling data stories that lead to strong recommendations and strategy
  • Create compelling visualizations and templates to standardize our outputs
  • Push the status quo, ideate, and innovate—we love big thinkers!

Requirements

 

  • 4+ years of proven performance in a brand marketing, media, or advertising organization
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, growth marketing, and/or media
  • Proven experience working as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or a similar role
  • Excellent design skills in Power Point, Wireframe, and/or Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to learn and understand complex methodologies at a high-level
  • A passion for data-driven marketing
  • A transformative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in an agile project management environment is a plus
  • Experience providing data-backed recommendations is a plus
  • Experience or knowledge of program management principles is a plus
