What we are looking for:

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking an experienced financial analyst who will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the IT organization.  This role requires an understanding of both finance and IT operations to evaluate costs, improve efficiencies, and optimize IT investments.  The IT Financial Analyst is a trusted finance partner and acts as a financial advisor to IT leaders and stakeholders by assessing the financial performance across IT to generate insights that guide decision making.

What you will do:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting:
    • Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Monitor and track IT expenditures against budgeted amounts.
    • Collaborate with IT leadership to align financial planning with organizational goals.
  • Cost Management & Optimization:
    • Analyze IT operational expenses to identify cost saving opportunities.
    • Provide recommendations for optimizing IT spend and resource allocation.
    • Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare various financial reports for IT operations and projects.
    • Support decision making by delivering data driven insights and trend analyses.
    • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies.
    • Support project cost reporting, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
    • Manage labor recovery process and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal policies.
  • Vendor & Contract Management:
    • Create IT purchase requests and purchase orders.
    • Partner with IT Procurement on vendor spend analysis and reporting. 
    • Validate accuracy and completeness of vendor spend data and resolve discrepancies for financial reporting.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure IT financial practices align with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

What you must have:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum 0-3 years of relevant finance experience
  • Technical and Other Skills:
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
    • Demonstrated competency in use of financial, planning and reporting software platforms (e.g. SAP, Apptio, etc.)
    • Financial experience including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and building financial models
    • Ability to prepare and present financial analysis and reports to stakeholders.
    • Ability to track and analyze IT expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize IT spending.
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including senior leadership.
  • Required Competencies and aptitudes:
    • Self-motivated team player with strong ability to interact with others, work under pressure, and adhere to deadlines
    • Very strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to propose positive solutions to complex problems
    • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with focused attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with a high level of customer service
    • Comfortable working with high volumes of data and the ability to identify and summarize key messages
    • Detailed and process improvement oriented
    • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
    • Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures, as well as our operating principles
    • Hybrid work environment: 3 days/week in-office
