The Category Manager will play a critical role in supporting insights and customer sell-in for iconic KDP brands within the Pepsi-affiliated bottler and distributor network. The role focuses on leveraging data-driven insights, building compelling customer presentations, and enabling strategic category growth. The Category Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, bottlers, and distributors to optimize category performance and ensure alignment on growth initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Category Insights and Strategy: Leverage syndicated data, customer-specific insights, and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies to drive category growth.
- Customer Engagement and Sell-In: Build and deliver compelling, fact-based category stories to drive customer alignment and enable strategic sell-in for KDP brands.
- Collaboration with Bottlers and Distributors: Work closely with Pepsi bottlers, distributors, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute tailored category plans that align with shared growth objectives.
- Joint Business Planning Support: Partner with bottlers and internal teams to support Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes by providing actionable insights and category expertise.
- Planogram Development and Merchandising: Develop and recommend optimized planograms and merchandising strategies that enhance category performance and shopper engagement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Continuously analyze sales, category performance, and customer data to identify actionable insights and communicate progress toward objectives.
- Innovation Support: Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and sales teams to support the introduction of new products and ensure successful integration into category strategies.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, shopper insights, or a related commercial role in the CPG industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and customer data to build impactful recommendations.
- Exceptional presentation development and delivery skills, with a proven track record of building data-driven, persuasive presentations in PowerPoint.
- A process-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for category management, customer insights, and driving results for beloved brands.
