Job Overview:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Operations role supports the Commercial Director in driving commercial performance and operational excellence across KDP’s European business. The role ensures strong day-to-day execution of the business while leading the successful delivery of innovation and portfolio changes, acting as a central integrator across internal functions and external partners/markets to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.

The role is accountable for running the commercial engine and pipeline, while supporting the Commercial Director focused on growth, partnerships, and strategic decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Business Performance Weekly/monthly performance tracking including dashboards, reviews, and action management. Lead KPI routines, ensure clear visibility vs AOP, and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks.
  • Plan Execution & cross-functional Alignment Translate Annual Plan (AOP) into execution plans; coordinate across internal functions and European partners to ensure delivery against targets, commercial pipeline and risk & ops visibility.
  • Commercialization Lead Lead end-to-end commercialization of European innovation and portfolio changes with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional technical readiness & execution for new market entries and partner onboarding.  Work closely with Beverage Concentrates Operations, Finance, Brand Marketing, R&D and technical functions to ensure readiness, compliance, and effective in-market delivery.
  • Partner PerformanceEnablement Develop recurrent touch-points with external partners, standardized KPI scorecards, and support performance reviews to drive accountability and results across existing and future European partners. Support Commercial Director in pursuing business development opportunities across Europe.
  • Commercial Process & Tools Build and standardize scalable core operating processes and tools (including Innovation Stage Gate) with internal stakeholders and partners. Improve data visibility and quality, speed-to-market, and cost efficiency.
  • Governance & Decision Support Own internal reporting, governance, and performance transparency. Enable faster, better decision-making by leadership and act as escalation point, deputizing for the Commercial Director when required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in commercial planning, sales operations, or similar cross-functional roles.
  • Proven experience delivering commercial plans in a complex, multi-market or matrix environment.
  • Strong exposure to end-to-end commercialization and cross-functional execution (Marketing, Sales, Ops, R&D, Finance)
  • Strong project/program management and organizational skills. Proven ability to translate plans into structured execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to track performance, manage KPIs, and drive to action.
  • A self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity. Strong bias for accountability and problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator and influencer in a matrix environment.
