Job Overview:

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a National Account Executive (NAE), Kroger CSD to build the growth strategy for the CSD portfolio at Kroger. This role requires a results-driven professional with a strong ability to enhance organizational processes, develop strategic plans, and drive execution. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, disciplined planner, and influential leader who can effectively manage complex customer challenges and drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between KDP and Kroger, effectively communicating and negotiating pricing and promotion.
  • Develop and execute JBPs and category management strategies in partnership with Kroger.
  • Lead monthly meetings with Kroger leadership to align growth strategies.
  • Participate in and Lead in quarterly JBP meetings with Kroger DSD Leadership.

Sales Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Craft and implement CSD Price Pack Plan architecture to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Conduct category and sales analysis to identify growth opportunities and enhance sales performance.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize internal and external data sources to analyze customer trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights.
  • Leverage tools such as M6, Stratum, and IRI to drive informed business decisions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and refine customer plans with Field Sales Execution and Route to Market to optimize execution.
  • Lead the development and mentorship of the Sr. Sales Analyst, CSD to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and 10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related function (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong preference for Kroger experience or experience within a Fortune 500 CPG, Beverage, or related industry.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Expertise in category management and product launches within retail channels.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with M6, Stratum, and IRI for business intelligence and reporting.
