The Division Sales Manager is responsible for the overall development of volume and team capabilities within the assigned geographic area specifically with Coke Affiliated Sales Organization (CASO) Keurig Dr Pepper bottlers. The role aggressively leads a defined sales team in the pursuit of volume growth and business development across channels and segments material to KDP. The CASO Southeast Division Manager will drive the business strategy and disciplines required to manage an effective coverage program supporting the KDP / CASO bottler partnership while operating within assigned budgets and compliance disciplines.
The Division Sales Manager CASO Southeast is responsible for a defined territory aligned to, but not limited to, CASO areas for Coca-Cola Consolidated bottling operations, along with other Independent Dr Pepper / Coca-Cola bottler ownerships. States included in this territory are North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi and West Virginia. The anchor bottler for this position is Coca-Cola Consolidated in Charlotte, NC. The role is based in Charlotte, NC
Objectives
- The Division Sales Manager will lead a Regional Sales Manager team that maintains accountability to annual volume and budget plans for the aligned KDP Coca-Cola Bottlers estimated at 30.8 Million 288oz cases
- The Division Sales Manager will negotiate business plans with the Bottler Leadership and instill the concept of Joint Business Planning targeting channel, segment, and retailer development.
- The Division Sales Managers main objective will be to execute the KDP National Brand Strategies in their defined bottler markets, while driving Dr Pepper Core Brand alignment and creating regionally relevant programs locally to drive additional KDP/CASO volume. This also includes selling in new products to bottlers through effective launch plans, program support, and managing the sales performance in conjunction with KDP/CASO annual plans.
- The Division Sales Manager will oversee operating expenses, several field budgets, and overall bottler and retailer customer development.
Responsibilities
- You will contribute to this role by leading the CASO Southeast Division team in meeting or exceeding volume and profit objectives by managing our customer and bottler relationship. Your goal will be to increase volume through an efficient and effective geographic coverage plan while remaining within an assigned budget.
- An important element of the position is developing and training a team that consists of two (2) KDP Regional Managers and one (1) Bottler Activation Manager. Maintaining and increasing an efficient and effective coverage plan within an assigned budget is important to success. Over time it is expected that the Division Manager will help lead per capita development of KDP brands (specifically Dr Pepper)

The Division Manager will be responsible for instilling practices and routines that supply the CASO Leadership with timely and accurate data as well as being the leadership and local expert on all issues relating to the specific Heartland Division including:
- Case Sales Analysis
- Performance insight
- Retailer Insight and Defined Annual Business Plans (DP Specific and integrated bottler aligned)
- Budget tracking and allocation compliance
- NAII Oversight
- Personnel Development
- Competitive Insight
- Margin Minder Benchmarks and Reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 4 years of CPG sales experience OR a high school diploma (or GED) and 8 years of CPG sales experience.
- 3 years of experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- 3 years of experience developing sales plans that resulted in increased volume and profit.
