Production Worker

The Production Worker is responsible for working on production lines and to assist in producing quality products. Positions parts or materials for processing. Assists in machine setup. Performs routine machine care, such as adding coolant to reservoirs of machines and lubricating machine parts. Performs feeding and off bearing activities. Loads packaging machines. Verifies weights of filled containers emerging from processing or packaging machines.

Shift and Schedule: Must have avaliblity for all shifts. Currently training on 1st & 2nd shift. If and when makes union shift will be determined by seniority.

  • (1st shift 7:30am - 4:00pm), (2nd shift 4:30pm - 1:00am), (3rd shift 11:00pm 7:30am)
  • Monday to Friday23.00

Position Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available.
  • Operate production equipment in a timely manner, efficient manner in order to produce quality product. 
  • Perform quality checks.
  • Visually inspect production run and document results.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Identify production line equipment and maintenance needs.
  • Keep production lines running smoothly.

Total Rewards

• $23.00/ hour.  Shift Differential $1.00 on shifts not on first.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 35 pounds repeatedly
