The Regional Sales Manager serves as the front-line business leader, communicator, and facilitator of the KDP Independent Pepsi Selling Organization (IPSO) Team, managing the strategic direction of our aligned business through our Pepsi bottler and distributor network while executing key business building initiatives to achieve assigned volume, revenue, share, and profit targets.
Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, this Regional Sales Manager will represent brands that are licensed within the Pepsi Beverages aligned distribution areas. Brands include Dr Pepper, Crush, Schweppes and Squirt.
You will be required to travel approximately up to 60% of the time within Bottler and Trade locations. For this posting, responsibility includes Northern & Central California.
The ideal candidate will reside in Northern California preferably in the San Francisco / Oakland area.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned regional sales territory with responsibility for sales growth and market execution where KDP brands are distributed by Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA)
- Lead the development and implementation of annual joint business plans utilizing IRI/Unify data that support the aligned strategic business objectives of KDP and PBNA.
- Interface with bottler Key Account Executives and KDP National Account Teams to improve retail account penetration for KDP brands distributed by PBNA and advance trade execution to gain fair share of retail. Cultivate productive working relationships with these key bottler and trade contacts.
- Work cross-functionally with other Regions, Divisions, Bottler Activation Manager, Commercial Planning, KDP National & Regional Account Teams and PBNA to deliver customer-specific business solutions.
- Responsibly support the management of local resources within PBNA contractual disciplines including initiating local business plans to support KPI objectives.
- Ensure execution of national marketing programs and NRS ad schedules to drive inclusion to bottler aligned programs and business plans.
- Use internal and external data sources for performance analysis and reporting.
- Invest time in the trade with PBNA management and sales teams. Facilitate proper execution of sales plans in the marketplace; solve operational or executional issues with customers or bottlers.
- Ensure Route-to-Market compliance by increasing distribution on brands and packages and solidifying execution for channel and new account opportunity.
- Align system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and trade / T&E budgets.
Total Rewards:
- Salary range: $91,300 - $140,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
- 4 years of experience in CPG Sales
- 4 years of experience in Supplier, Bottler, Distributor or Commercial Retail Account Management
- 4 years of experience using MS Office to include PPT, Excel, Word
