We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) testing procedures to ensure the quality and compliance of our products. Test Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance in a regulated manufacturing environment. Additionally, the Test Technician will perform brewer tests related to Keurig product quality, including brewer performance testing, life testing, and other specified brewing system evaluations.
The Testing Technician works under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor and is expected to report all relevant test observations, test abnormalities, and record data for product performance analysis. This position requires an individual with strong initiative, a proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 1st shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required as needed.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct routine testing of products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Execute various testing protocols to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Collect samples of raw materials and finished products for testing.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of samples using approved testing procedures.
- Perform new brewer and component testing protocols in support of brewer product development and continuous improvement programs.
- Record and organize quality data in appropriate computer spreadsheets and report results to management.
- Provide training for new full time and temporary personnel in proper brewer test techniques and methods, as well as data recording requirements.
- Troubleshoot brewer performance issues and correlate abnormal behavior with potential root causes.
- Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
- This position will not normally require travel.
- Works collaboratively and/or under the direct supervision of a professional.
- Conducts routine/repetitive testing activities and summarizes results/data.
- Operates and maintains various lab apparatus and precision test equipment.
- May assemble electro/mechanical components, product prototypes, and sub-assemblies.
- Ensures a safe, clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
- Demonstrates strong technological aptitude and proficiency in using basic hand tools and data-recording and communication computer skills.
- Maintains confidentiality with new technologies related to industry-leading programs.
- May be required to maintain lab supplies and manage inventory.

Requirements:
- High school graduate; technical Associate’s Degree or Certification is a plus.
- 0-3+ years of relevant experience in a product service and/or manufacturing test environment preferred.
- Familiarity with electromechanical products containing electronic, mechanical, and fluid control components is a plus.
- Quality background in inspection plans, test protocols, root cause analysis, and data recording is desired.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory test and measurement instruments preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well with coworkers and company management.
- Strong computer skills and analytical ability in the use of spreadsheet and database software strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to communicate in a concise and focused manner.
- Ability to uphold safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our manufacturing/quality best practices.
