Sr. Commercialization Manager (Walmart/Target)
As the Sr. Commercialization Manager (Customer Marketing), you will play a key role in the team responsible for the commercialization of our portfolio of hot beverage brands. You will support the definition and implementation of multiple processes and practices that allow for the entire portfolio of Keurig coffee brands (Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Peet’s, McCafé, The Original Donut Shop Coffee, and many others) to go to market in an efficient, timely and coherent manner. You will be the commercial lead for two critical channels, Walmart and Target, as well as lead go to market strategy for coffee innovation.
Your goal is to drive success with our shoppers, customers and partners by helping to drive a commercial hot beverage strategy that is coherent across channels and optimized to deliver supply chain efficiencies. Your work will have a wide span of influence and require flexibility in style and approach. There will be collaboration and strategic thinking to execute on commercial priorities and channel strategy. You will also need a strong process orientation to ensure that your detailed plan is fully communicated and flawlessly executed.
You will report to the Director of Coffee Commercialization and will frequently collaborate with multiple partner functions including sales, brand marketing, revenue growth management (RGM), supply chain and partner teams.
This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.
Job Description:
What you will do:
- Your ultimate goal is to drive success with our shoppers, customers and partners by helping to drive a commercial hot beverage strategy that is coherent across channels and optimized to deliver supply chain efficiencies
- You will support the definition and implementation of multiple processes and practices that allow for our portfolio of coffee brands to go to market in an efficient, timely and coherent manner
- You will be the commercial lead for two critical channels, Walmart and Target, and have ownership over the Department/Specialty and Discount channels via one direct report
- You will lead Go-To-Market strategy and commercial readiness for annual coffee innovation launches
- Ensure the voice of the retailer is heard and incorporated into HQ coffee system strategy
- You will lead the stage gate and coffee end of life process for the channel solutions and new products you create
- Support the design of our hot beverage channel strategy and embed it into the annual planning process
- Collaborate with shopper insights, category management, RGM, brand marketing and the sales teams to identify and prioritize the relevant activities, insights and tactics required to succeed in your assigned channels
- Support the weekly coffee system communication process to the sales teams in your assigned channels around upcoming activations and developments to the annual plan
Total Rewards:
• Salary Range: $ 140,000 - 165,000
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experienceor MBA and minimum 7 years of experience, in sales, sales strategy, brand marketing or other related field
- Ability to drive buy-in across multiple levels and functions of an organization to drive improvement in business performance
- Ability to identify the critical areas in a complex issue and prioritize their resolution
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to translate data into clear, compelling PowerPoint storytelling for senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to build stakeholder trust in your approach
- Prefer experience on a customer team for a “Fortune 500” company, or in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage or related industries
- Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to lead thinking in a fast-paced and changing environment
