Senior Project Manager - Packaging Stewardship
Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead engagement with U.S. material recovery facilities (MRFs), community recycling programs, equipment manufacturers and organizations working to advance recycling. This role requires a deep understanding of recycling processes, equipment and the ability to work closely with MRFs and communities to conduct testing and promote the inclusion of KDP packaging in recycling programs within the U.S. The position requires a partnership mindset and significant travel across the U.S. to engage with various facilities and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage a team of external partners to build, manage and implement pipeline of communities and MRFs that accept KDP packaging. Establish meeting cadence and set performance metrics to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with MRF operators, community recycling program leaders, and other key stakeholders. Advocate for the inclusion of KDP packaging in recycling programs.
- Testing and Evaluation: Coordinate and oversee testing of KDP packaging at various MRFs to determine their recyclability. Analyze test results and develop recommendations for process improvements. Coordinate testing with recycling equipment providers and testing labs to support, sustain and scale acceptance.
- Community Outreach: Work with community recycling leaders to educate and promote the acceptance of KDP packaging. Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and educational materials as necessary.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Document project progress, including ownership of acceptance data in coordination with industry partners.
- Budget Management: Manage the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with project and organizational goals.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in recycling, waste management, or sustainability. Proven track record of managing complex projects and working with recyclers.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights and interact with a wide variety of people.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to travel extensively and adapt to different environments.
- Travel: 50%+ to MRFs and communities across the United States to conduct site visits, meetings, and testing.
