We are seeking an experienced Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join the Future Coffee Systems team. This role will report to the Director of Pod Product Management, Future Coffee Systems, and will lead innovative, high-visibility consumable and accessories programs, delivering overall execution of our new AltaRounds product roadmap.
What you will do:
- Galvanize and lead a cross-functional team through a range of new consumable product development, inclusive of beverage, format, packaging, and accessories innovation and productivity opportunities
- Manage new AltaRounds consumable, packaging, and accessories projects from ‘cradle to grave’, including:
- Creating and driving consumer learning plans in partnership with consumer insights and consumer design research
- Setting product requirements and targets based on consumer needs and economic factors
- Composing cogent business cases for new product introductions
- Making decisions on budgetary tradeoffs to ensure timely delivery of project
- Coordinating and overseeing progress across team ‘workstreams’ (e.g., Supply Chain, engineering, procurement)
- Escalating ‘divergences from plan’ to appropriate governing bodies (e.g., Steering Committees, ELT)
- Driving alignment cross-functional and up through leadership on recommendations
- Manage communications around new consumable program development with senior leadership
- Ensure projects deliver against goals and KPIs
- Participate in key stakeholder presentations and integration events
- Perform and leverage analysis of sales information, projections, and other meaningful data to understand and lead pipeline of company consumable products
- Provide short-term and long-term strategic direction on consumable/beverage pipeline
- Have a strong leadership understanding of the consumable’s role in the portfolio and impact to the profit and loss of the company
- Analyze market data, consumer insights, and performance in order to make strategic recommendations about product line plans
- Execute product initiatives that support the broader short term and long-term objectives of the company
- Develop product requirements and product briefs to drive consumable and accessories development activities
- Lead cross-functional team through stage gate process to develop new consumables and accessories
- Direct Consumer Insights team in development of research that informs consumable and accessories strategy
- Manage continuous improvement of product line to meet emerging consumer needs and optimize business performance
- Track projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects, and pursue path to optimization

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $130,700 - $175,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of progressive brand/product management or consumer research and design experience in the consumer-packaged goods industries
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Packaging, Design, Business, Engineering and/or related field required; MBA preferred
- Combination of marketing, design, technical, or engineering background.
- Experience in product/innovation management, ideally with ‘cradle to grave’ approach
- Creative mindset and passion for product marketing and consumer packaged goods
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with all levels of the organization and externally with partners
- Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail; able to shift priorities quickly and remain calm and focused under pressure; able to manage multiple projects/requests and meet deadlines
- Good judgment; understand when to involve others in the decision-making process
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team
- Experience with new product development, and product line management
- Demonstrated success introducing products to consumer/commercial market
- Ability to interface with technical resources in developing and designing brewing systems and commercial team on go-to-market activities
- Consumable product management experience preferred, consumable and durable product management experience a plus
- Ability to manage highly complex projects with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong sense of urgency
- Up to 30% Travel
