Job Overview:

Join the Keurig Dr Pepper Appliance organization as a Mechanical Engineer contributing to the development of next generation Keurig appliances. As part of cross functional teams, you’ll help drive product innovation by leading key mechanical design efforts across new and existing appliances. This role directly influences current and future products and offers strong visibility and growth opportunities within the KDP organization.

What you will do:

  • Quickly get up to speed with new technologies and products
  • Design, test, and evaluate electro‑mechanical components and subsystems
  • Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyses
  • Conduct structural and performance simulations to validate mechanical designs
  • Partner with a cross-functional team of technical, business and manufacturing subject matter experts
  • Proactively identify and close knowledge gaps
  • Follow all KDP policies and procedures.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $70,500 - $116,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant industry
  • 3D design / modeling (SolidWorks)
  • Component and assembly design analysis
  • Mechanical engineering theory including kinematics, dynamics, fluids and heat transfer
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An aptitude for creating and presenting data-based trade-off studies as input for decisions

Preferred skills:

  • Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles and best practices
  • System or subsystem modeling and simulation
  • Understanding of plastic part design for injection molding
  • High volume consumer product design experience
  • Teamcenter experience
  • Advanced 3D Modeling
  • Design for Six Sigma practices including Root Cause Analysis, 8D, A3, Design of Experiments, etc.
