We are seeking a Software Engineer I to join our engineering team and contribute to the
development of embedded software for our brewers. This is an entry-level role designed for
early-career engineers who are eager to build real-world products, grow their technical
skills, and learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for brewer systems
- Implement software features and make modifications to existing algorithms
- Perform software verification, validation, and documentation activities
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects
- Apply established software development processes, standards, and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, quality, etc.)
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $62,500 - $90,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience included)
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Skills
- Foundational knowledge of embedded systems or low-level software development
- Experience with consumer electronics or appliance software development
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools such as Jira,
- Confluence, and Bitbucket
