Embedded Software Engineer I

We are seeking a Software Engineer I to join our engineering team and contribute to the
development of embedded software for our brewers. This is an entry-level role designed for
early-career engineers who are eager to build real-world products, grow their technical
skills, and learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for brewer systems
• Implement software features and make modifications to existing algorithms
• Perform software verification, validation, and documentation activities
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects
• Apply established software development processes, standards, and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, quality, etc.)
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies

• Salary Range: $62,500 - $90,000
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
• Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
• Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience included)
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Preferred Skills

• Foundational knowledge of embedded systems or low-level software development
• Experience with consumer electronics or appliance software development
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools such as Jira,

• Confluence, and Bitbucket
