As an Automation Control Engineer IIyou will participate in the Hardware/Software Controls developmentutilized on packaging equipment, process equipment and high speed applications. You will be responsible forsignificant contributions to the installation and start-up of new equipment along with trouble shooting existing equipment. You must be self-driven, quick to learn and able to perform in a very dynamic work environment, balancing a wide variety of projects and work activities.
What you will do:
- Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs and PLCs on high speed packaging lines, process equipment and Lab equipment
- Develop, collaborate on and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment, field retrofits, and upgrades
- Provide support for continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to identify root cause and define solution
- Research and analyze data for specifications, feasibility studies, and productivity improvements

Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $70,500 - $105,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
- 3 - 6+ years of relevant experience
- Moderate experience in the engineering, design and development of manufacturing equipment for high volume, high speed, high precision assembly operation and complex industrial systems
- Experience with Rockwell Automation products and National Instruments a plus
- Programming knowledge of Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000 and FTView ME and SE a plus
- Knowledge of VFD and Servo drives. (AB Powerflex and Kinetixa plus)
- General knowledge of PID loops and process control concepts
- General knowledge of motion control concepts and robotics
- Experience in food or consumer goods packaging industries is a plus
- SQL Server Database knowledge and Visual Basic Programming a plus
- Experience with machine vision is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 25%
