Shift & Schedule:Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Rotation: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Note: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
The Batcher/Kitter is responsible for accurately preparing and staging raw materials—primarily bulk sugar—for production according to established formulas, safety protocols, and quality standards. This role is essential to maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and full compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Unloading
Safely unload bulk sugar tankers in compliance with all company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Verify load documentation and maintain complete material traceability.
Batch Preparation & Kitting
Accurately weigh, label, and prepare batches of sugar and related materials per the production schedule.
Apply tamper-evident bands and ensure all components are properly identified and traceable.
Inventory & Material Rotation
Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices to maintain product freshness and minimize waste.
Ensure all inventory handling aligns with company quality and compliance standards.
Sanitation & Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation schedules, and safety protocols.
Equipment Care & Maintenance
Perform routine equipment inspections and monitor for proper operation.
Promptly report any maintenance needs or issues to supervision.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner closely with production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
Communicate any discrepancies or potential production impacts immediately.
Documentation & Compliance
Accurately complete all required records, including batch sheets, inventory logs, and unloading documentation.
Ensure all documentation meets company and regulatory compliance requirements.
Total Rewards:
- $26.63 per hour, based on experience

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and basic food safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) — certification preferred.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
