Supply Chain Analyst III – Long Range Planning

The Long Range Planning team is responsible for providing broad strategic input into large scale supply decisions to ensure maximum returns on invested capital and consistency with the overall business strategy. This position will be responsible for coordinating and updating our Long Range Planning Model for both Hot & Cold Manufacturing systems. In this role, you will be responsible for updating key model parameters using data queries, performing and presenting analysis, generating reports that facilitate decision making and evaluating risks & opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Update Long Range Planning Model with most recent demand forecasts and operational metrics using internal databases and tools
  • Provide analysis and guidance on manufacturing and warehousing capacity planning on 12+ month timeframe focused on meeting regional demand growth and changes (e.g., from innovation, new product launches)
  • Support capacity investment / divestment decisions aligned with broader strategic objectives and long-range volume plans
  • Provide directional capacity view by technology, by region, as well as capacity modification proposals with supporting business cases and long-term warehousing requirements
  • Provide strategic solutions that build capabilities and capacity going forward in collaboration with Network Optimization that relate to new plants and/or lines, vertical integration opportunities and insourcing brands
  • Collaborate with internal customers such as Short-term Capacity Planning, Logistics Operations, Engineering as well as our Sales and Finance teams



What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university highly preferred. MBA or advanced degree, also preferred
  • Demonstrated competence managing large data sets using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Tableau including the ability to utilize pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, and summarize data graphically
  • Comfortable learning and working with a variety of technology tools (ERP systems, Trade and Demand management systems, Reporting and ad-hoc data retrieval tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to model financial and/or operational scenarios with multiple input variables using MS Excel, preferably while evaluating long-term decisions
  • Must be able to create high-quality professional MS PowerPoint presentations and have the ability to construct results that “tell a story” that can influence key decisions with facts
  • Prior experience with Think-cell software and Tableau certification are preferred
  • Flexible and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Detailed and deadline-orientated to meet regular and periodic needs of the business for accurate and timely information.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong capability to thoroughly review & sense-check results to ensure analysis is accurate
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact & collaborate comfortably with other teams and at all levels of the organization
